1. Programme Overview
Animation Residency Ireland, administered by Birr 2020 Vision CLG, offers selected animators accommodation, studio space, and support to develop short animated films in Birr, County Offaly. Participation is open to emerging and established animators, subject to application and selection.

2. Application and Selection
Applicants must submit all required materials by the stated deadline. Selection is made by a panel based on artistic merit, project potential, and suitability for the residency. The decision of the panel is final.

3. Residency Participation
Selected residents must commit to the full duration of the residency and are expected to use the provided facilities responsibly. Residents are required to follow all house rules, health and safety guidelines, and good practice standards during their stay.

4. Intellectual Property
Residents retain full ownership of any work created during the residency. Animation Residency Ireland and Birr 2020 Vision CLG reserve the right to request credit in the final work (e.g., “Developed with the support of Animation Residency Ireland, Birr 2020 Vision CLG”) and to use images or short excerpts for promotional purposes, with proper attribution.

5. Costs and Support
The residency provides free accommodation and studio space. Travel, materials, and personal expenses are the responsibility of the resident unless otherwise stated. The residency does not cover medical insurance or costs not specified in the programme details.

6. Code of Conduct
Residents are expected to respect fellow participants, staff, and the local community. Any form of discrimination, harassment, or disruptive behaviour may result in removal from the programme.

7. Third-Party Content
The residency may include third-party content or activities not fully controlled by Birr 2020 Vision CLG. While every effort is made to ensure quality and accessibility, responsibility for third-party content rests with the provider.

8. Amendments and Cancellation
Birr 2020 Vision CLG reserves the right to amend these terms, alter the programme, or cancel the residency if necessary. In the event of cancellation, applicants will be notified as soon as possible.

9. Data Protection
Personal data is collected and processed in accordance with Irish law and our Privacy Policy. Data is used solely for the administration of the residency.
